The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Corrie Harris can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: P. Henderson
Condolence: I am very sorry for loss of MaMa. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) May you trust in God to comfort you until that time. (Prov. 3:5, 6) He is the Source of our help. (Ps. 121:1, 2)

Condolence From: CHARLES H J PULLIAM III
Condolence: Condolences from Charles and Stella Pulliam to the Harris family. "Weeping will endure for a night, but JOY will come in the morning" "Mom Corrie" as a lot of us called her, brought JOY into our lives. Her smile usually lit up a room. Her sweet disposition left a mark on our lives. We were fortunate to be apart of her "adopted" family and part of the Lincoln Ave Baptist Church family. I fight back tears as I think of the kindness and support Mom Corrie extended to me. She never gave up on me as she help mold me into the man I am today. When I pass the building at 1180 N Lincoln Ave, Pasadena, I think of her legacy. As part of the group that planned and maintained the building and the Christian principles LABC stood for, I came to understand what "church" is all about. No brick and mortar. Her legacy was about the people. Although the name has changed, some have ventured away - The LABC legacy Mom Corrie help build will always be the same. I was fortunate to know many
angels who shared the dream. Most are having a big reunion in heaven. When I pass the edifice, I see and feel the legacy Mom helped form. That LEGACY lives in those she touched. I'll miss her, but never from the heart.

Condolence From: Cheryl Greer Jarman
Condolence: "Precious memories, how they linger..." To the family of my dear Corrie Ann, I rejoice with you in celebrating the 106 and 1/2 years of victorious, prosperous and productive living that Corrie had. We've shared soooooooo much over the years and it seemed like it would never stop! Thanks for sharing her with us; she taught us how to love, make everyone feel special, make the most of your gifts, don't be idle, how to dress and to always put God first. She believed in her favorite verse and she had long life, now she has eternal life! See you in the morning, I'll love you forever. Cheryl Ann Greer Jarman.

Condolence: To the family of my sweet, warm and gentle friend. I believe the greatest tribute we can all give to Corrie’s memory would be to live our lives as she did, spreading true and genuine love along the way. That’s what will keep her memory alive. Love to you all ~Vickie~
